amrit9037: Serious Sam 2
The Serious Sam series is awesome but I am looking for third person games, not first person. Thanks anyway though.

superdoobydo: It does not have to be a pure action game, the behind the back 3rd person camera is the most important part.
It does not have to be available on GOG either.
Did someone mention Resident Evil 4 yet?
I'd have suggested Severance / Blade of Darkness or Second Sight, if they hadn't been removed from digital distribution. :(

I think what hasn't been named yet is Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb, and maybe Rayman 3 (but I haven't played through them myself yet, so I can't vouch for them).

MartiusR: Enclave [...] is quite hard though
If you try this one, I recommend picking "Easy" difficulty, it's what other games would have called "Normal". The game is split into levels, and on anything but "Easy" you lose everything and have to restart the level from scratch if you die. Since in some levels you can die easily with one shot or so, and the challenge isn't always fair, this can become quite frustrating. "Easy" gives you one "halfway there" checkpoint; once you've found and activated it, you only get thrown back to that checkpoint on dying and can continue your run.

But yeah, go play Psychonauts.

hmmm... I was going to say something like the Devil May Cry series, Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising, Vanquish, etc. but I'm guessing from the time frame you are looking for something with lower system requirements..

So I guess I'll say Prince of Persia Sands of Time. Haven't gotten around to playing the other games in the series.

Darksiders is definitely a fun game man, but I as stated in the post I am looking for games released from 1994 to 2004. Thanks anyway man!
Maybe try Project Eden (2001):

One of the best old 3rd person games in my opinion.

superdoobydo: Hey there, can you suggest some 3rd person action games for me, please? The only requirements I ask you to consider is that it was released between 1994 to 2004 and released on Windows.

Think along the lines of American Mcgee's Alice, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II and Vampire The Masquerade.
Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy (available on GOG). Both sequels to Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight.

Any particular reason for this limitation? : )

I am trying to seek out games I did not play when I was younger. I also have an affinity for the aesthetic style and gameplay of older games. On top of that, I have played (or tried) most games that came out after 2006.

If you have any suggestions I would love to hear :D

I don't think anyone has mentioned Enclave or Conflict Desert Storm.

Also I highly recommend Rune.
