I also think he tries character assasination so that the hosts will get shook up, scared, etc. That they'll for some reason "default" to him as the "winner" and give him the game for all of his "help".

No apologies needed. :) I hear you. It's an irritating situation to be sure. But, so long as he didn't rob you of your code, he's really got nothing he can take from us. He's the one with something to lose in fact. Think about it.

Yeah, I see what you mean. Thankfully, I got to the code hours before he even asked (I redeemed at around 5:30, he didn't ask until 7:00).

I ended up playing through the entire game in one night. That game got me hooked on old-school shooters and Apogee/3D Realms, and I've been playing those games ever since.
