Random_Coffee: I've been meaning to finish Planescape: Torment for years now, but it has just never happened. I'm totally doing it this year though. I've also bought the Switch version at some point, so I even have it portable now.
This is me to a tee. Except I tried playing it on the Switch and ran into a game breaking bug. I wish to save you the effort of trying to play a broken game.

What bug was it? I thought the Switch version was based on the same Enhanced Edition that has been out on PC for years.

Then again, I had Neverwinter Nights on Switch, which might be the worst console port I've ever played of anything. Luckily I was able to sell it and get most of my money back.
Planning to basically finish up my quick reference guide to retro metroidvanias/platform adventures, covering the genre's history from 1984-2009.

To play list:

Let me know if you want to see any particular game(s) covered next.
PS4:
Yakuza 3-5
Final Fantasy X and X-2
Dragon Quest XI
Secret of Mana
Dragons Crown
Devil May Cry 1-4

PS2:
Shadow Hearts: From the New World
Shadow Hearts: Covenant
Persona 3 and 4
Dragon Quest VIII

PS2 Emulator:
Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne/Lucifers Call (I'm not paying 100+€ for a used copy, that has thousands of scratches)

PC:
Horizon Zero Dawn
Baldur's Gate 3
Wasteland 3

Bold = already played through the game

My resolution is to stick to a few games and finish them. I have a bad habit of starting new games all the time.

I have compromised and allowed myself to pick one game from each genre I enjoy and alternate between them, so that I do one genre on sundays, another on mondays and wednesdays, and so on. This gives me the variety I crave, yet enough hours to make progress in each game.

I also want to cut back on the time I spend in "endless" games, like simulators (American Truck Simulator, Hunting Simulator, Elite Dangerous, etc ). There's not actual end in these games, so they can wait, I'm in it for the long run with them.
Finish Bloodborne and Sekiro, and play NieR: Replicant as soon as it comes out.

The game would crash after opening a buy/sell screen with a particularly important NPC. But it's been a while and I can't remember rightly. There are a lot of bugs if you do an internet search on the subject.

I see. Seems like they were a little sloppy with the QA on the Switch version. I'll google a bit and see if they fixed the worst bugs. Otherwise I can just sell my copy. I have both the original and the Enhanced Edition on PC, so I'll just play it there.
Make some games for us adults AO-Games. Not abscene games just sexy games. Humans are Beautiful!

That would be my wish for 2021 and beyond.
Ys II Chronicles is down. Eh, I preferred the first one.

You can also wait for the PS4 remaster.

Right, I completely forgot about that remaster. :)

Was contemplating wether or not to get Dragon Quest XI S, since I 'only' have the original release. but paying 40€ for a few new features isn't that appealing.:P
'Faster loading times', well, of course it's going to load faster when the textures are downscaled. :P
Games that I'm already playing and will soon finish, I think:
- SiN
- The Adventures of Shuggy

Games that I look forward to playing in 2021 (and will likely be able to finish):
- The Deadly Tower of Monsters
- Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
- TRI
- Far Cry
- Half-Life: Uplink
- Descent
- Diablo: Hellfire
- Undying

Games that I will try out but I might not be able to finish or make significant progress in, I'm afraid:
- Doom (believe it or not, I've actually never played it)
- Titan Quest (seems like a huge game)
- Hostile Waters
- WH40K: Dawn of War
- Earthsiege (I'll have to use DosBox...)
- Arx Fatalis (seems difficult)

Also:
I would like to complete Gothic, but I'm not so sure I'll manage it... it's a tough, slow and vast game. But it's fascinating and gripping in its own way.
I would also like to resume (or, better, to restart and play seriously) Syndicate and Alien vs Predator (however unlikely). Well, I'd like to do the same with S.T.A.L.K.E.R., but I don't think it will happen (I'll do it one day, I promise...)

Finally: I will try Portal64 (seriously... it seems like a decent game, more than just a joke).

Interesting choice...
I am a man with no backlog. My conscience is pure! XD

I made the resolution to finally beat the "divine" bosses on Grim Dawn and to beat Furi in hard mode. Those will be unbelievably difficult.

I should warn you that I quit mid-way through for a couple reasons, one of which was that Hard Mode was a bit much. (The other had to do with the music.)
