Are you talking about the people who are using disabled people to argue for easy modes in games, or something else?

Sorta not clown world, but kinda related via TedTalks.....some guy gave one where he tried saying because we have 'ai" software running the stock exchange/etc that means actual sentient AI is here right now. He also said planes run by gov't/etc drop thousands of softball sized sensors in places to record audio/video/more on targets.

I watched like 5 minutes or so of the guy I mentioned(out of sheer curiosity) before turning it off. It's people like that/flat earthers/etc that give those with valid concerns/ideas a bad name.

Addition: That sam hyde video: The guy is saying the world will reach 50 billion(imo that level would never be reached before a culling event[starvation/epidemics/etc] occured) soon(within a few decades or so). We'd also likely have trouble getting to such high populations as replacement levels are lower overall.

NVM on that addition...I just got that he's trolling.

*Offtopic rant*

I find it "funny" that the whitney houston article I linked/that post got downrated, and some posts of mine that were uprated by people got low rated afterwards(some of which aren't even spam/uncivil/etc).

Why? I find it funny because it shows how far the forums have sunk when people will low rate without leaving a reply(or even a PM) why they disagreed(which would at least be helpful if they contained advice I could "learn" from or reasons why people disliked such).

Don't like what I post? Fine. Then don't read it/don't enter a thread you might not want to read and basically throw garbage around by downrating it to hell and back. Doing so just proves how low class those who do such are, and further proves how far the gog userbase has sunk(with some groups).

*End offtopic*

Addition: I don't care if this/othjer posts get downrated in general(I pretty much expect it to, sadly, given the nature of what I just wrote and how it might affect some). Heck, it's not such a big deal in the grand scheme of things. It's the downrating without a given reason which I dislike, or those who downrate because they dislike a certain poster.

But downrate it/me if you want. In the end, I will feel no worse about myself and my beliefs will not change....and that is some of what matters most to me.

Article 4 - AZ Sheriff has to defend 'sandal shaming" a woman who had trouble with hiking a dangerous trail

So now we can't "sandal shame"(even if we're trying to provide good sensible hiking advice as part of our jobs), as that's bad. *Sigh*

Isn't that the guy who has committed several acts of mass murder...and always gets away with it?
The fact that he hasn't been locked up yet shows what a clown world this is.

Sometimes I wonder with how wacky the world gets, if we are living in the end times or just another weird period in our history like the 20's where.

Has he? I am not knowledgable on him so I don't know.

(I will be looking it up, though, as you've piqued my interest.)

At any rate, he did make a good impression of what future clown world might be like(with a bit of embellishment on top, though).

The 20's where what? You kinda cut it off mid sentence there.

As for the "end times"....many people over the course of history have claimed various things are signs of such or predicted a date(to scare people into following them, to cause chaos, to make money, because they were genuinely crazy, etc). All such dates came and went, and all such predictions(barring ones that haven't hit their dates yet like Nostradamus's vague predictions and other modern ones) usually failed as well. As such, I usually take no stock in them other than as a curiosity to ponder on the net while looking into /x/ related stuff.

ah my apologies I meant "like the 20's where things went upside down as well, then the 30s happened where conservative value reestablished themselves then ww2 happened" I dont know why I did not finish it, damn ADHD.

as a christian, I do believe in the biblical endtimes but I dont know if now counts as them....

Thanks for the clarification, at any rate.

An aside: Not to step on any toes, but I am a catholic/christian and I believe the end times(and much of the beginning stories) are more allegorical/myth than reality, and as such take little stock in them. I don't mean to say you/others can't, however, or that ANY end times isn't a possibility(with the way we're eating up resources and polluting/etc it might eventually come to pass anyways, god/the devil causing it or no).

I don't think this is the end times. I do think that just about every generation has had thoughts that theirs might be it, though. But, I'm an eternal optimist.

============================================================

Offtopic/general reply to all: I find it funny that when others uprate my posts in here that others rate them back down just as fast. Some people really must have no life if all they want to do all day is rate down posts made by those they dislike/on subjects they dislike.

What I don't get is why some here can debate me civilly on what I write/post and tell me why they dislike it, while others just click the little minus sign and go on their way as if that will "teach me a lesson to not wrongthink/post" and hurt me in any way.

Addition: I GET why some might dislike my offtopic posts in other's threads, but when I make my own threads and don't troll/break rules when posting in them I don't get why people would feel the need to downrate such or even why such people would feel the need to even come in here(if they feel they'll dislike the topic/what i'm saying) and subject themselves to what they'll likely dislike to hear/read.

Article 5 - Women brag about having abortions-joke about abortions in front of pro-life demonstrators

Look, I agree a person's body is their own and they can do what they want(within reason), but teasing/heckling pro-lifers and bragging about abortions in front of others(some of whom are likely grieving parents) & joking about "fetus gravyards/s*x in the pro-lifers display as being a kinky thing" as tasteless in general.

Addition: Women being PROUD of having an abortion/bragging about it.....I cannot get my head around that. :\
