Just on a side note: I, too, would find it appaling if somebody were to be suspended from schools for speaking their minds. But should any such cases (not merely claims possibly attributed to other circumstances, such as here) crop up, they would certainly be exceptions. I think there is room for opinion in schools in general. Teachers will disagree, and you will have a debate, and the debate will usually involve other students too. It's integral to the way academia works, and it informs high school teaching as well.

Students are suspended for bad behaviour, not for having opinions.
1. This is all good and I agree 100%

2. It can and does happen, though, as no one(not even people in academia) are free from the failures of being human & that includes lying about why someone is being punished or punishing people for one thing while claiming they were/are being punished for other reasons.

GameRager: 1. Thank you...also it was suspended twice. And to be fair that bit could be verified by checking with school records/officials I believe(if such records are publically accessible).

Addition: Thanks once again for engaging in dialog and adding to the thread. It is a nice thing to see even if I don't always agree with someone, and is why I make such threads.

(Disclaimer: I have nothing against talented/qualified individuals of any stripe being hired for any job)


To be fair, the issue here(imo) ISN'T that they want to hire around 50% minorities/women/etc for their company but that it will likely force others who are qualified but not one of those groups(i.e. men/white people/etc) to not get jobs they might be better qualified for due to a crazy quota system the PC culture encourages(where one's group matters more than qualifications). I also wonder if any current employees will have to be let go who aren't in said groups to help the company reach those goals. :\

Article 24 - School to paint over instead of hide mural of Washington
History, to me, should NEVER be hidden/removed/edited to appease the masses or anyone's feelings UNLESS it is truly horrible example....and even then it should be saved to a museum/similar site for preservation. Now a school will erase a part of their local culture to appease some PC individuals and get some virtue points in today's clown world(when they could have easily hidden it by covering it).

I wonder....who will be the next one from history to be called racist/sexist/bigoted/homophobic/whatever label the extremist bullies like to hurl?

Article 25Critics slam stright pride parade being planned
I find it sad that when LGBTQ+ people start or hold parades everyone is like "way to go...pro tolerance and love over hate" even while some of them come to such events half naked(literally walking with their "Junk" on or near to being in full view of CHILDREN), YET a few men want to make a straight pride parade and walk down the street in regular clothes and people are up in arms.

Some in the article even try to claim this parade would make things worse for LGBT+ children, or that ANYTHING pro-caucasian/white talk is "HATE SPEECH".

Article 26 - Students at one school told to not use certain words on campus AT ALL...crowder interviews them about it
Basically a school's new code of conduct states that "bad" words will not be tolerated by anyone on their campus....including words one would likely get upset & rightly so like f*g and ret*rd....but also tame words like crazy/insane, gypped, and illegal alien(s).

What's even sadder is how many seem to be ok with it in the clip above if it makes some not get a bit upset from hearing such. Heck, even the BLACK TEACHER has no problem with the term N*GRO and prefers it over the PC term being used today.

Intellectual diversity is something they should fight for, but they don't even know what it is and what it means - so how can they stand up for something they don't understand, or even recognise?

What the campus have demonstrated here is a form of fascism (which by the way is NOT synonymous with which side you're on politically) by making it illegal to say certain things. They demonstratively piss on the first amendment. The ruling heads of this public(!) school should be uncontrollably thrown out at high speed.

Speaking of mono-culture; BBC is a perfect example. They thin out everyone that doesn't have the same mindset as the rest.

Article 27 - Teen put on Offender list for touching a girl's arm while trying to make friends
The young man was supposedly lonely and had no friends and searched online for tips on how to make friends. His shyness was likely what kept him from doing much but trying to force a smile when she looked at him(after he touched her).

The girl supposedly felt so unsafe she went and called the police, and is afraid to go out of her own home....over another teen touching her arm while trying to make friends with her. Now the teen is on the offenders list likely for life over someone being paranoid & some cops/a court official going along with it.

Article 28- Schools cancel Halloween events for various reasons
Schools are now deciding(if they weren't before) to cancel Halloween events for various BS reasons(that don't tackle the core issues as to why they were cancelled by some schools) like: Some costumes being inappropriate/insensitive(as if they cannot just issue lists of costumes for people to avoid), some not celebrating it as they view it as evil(usually this is not kids but overprotective or moralistic parents), costumes being too pricey for poor students(can't they make their own like I did?), etc.

One person in the article put it correctly, I think: They are cancelling such to not have to take more time to deal with the issue and forcing some students to lose out on such events just because a scant few might object for some reason.

I mean it's BAD ENOUGH many areas limit trick or treating for newer generations(due to various false scares) & not many give out candy anymore in some areas, but now some places are taking away some kid's main source of Halloween celebration with others due to the feelings of a small handful of people & districts trying to virtue signal/gain brownie points in today's more image/pr focused world.

If I were still a kid and in a school that did that crap i'd come to school dressed in costume and wish everyone a Happy Halloween no matter what they said, and if they made a stink i'd have my parents sue them for intolerance and turn the tolerance/inclusivity stick back around on them.

Most moral panics surrounding Halloween are made up* or the facts altered to make it seem worse than it is, and demons are likely not real.

(Also what's the harm[to one's mind/soul/etc] in just dressing up in a non-"evil" costume and getting free candy?)

*Facts(most proven with evidence/etc):
Most candy scares started after a small handful of kid's parents tainted their own kid's candy and then tried to blame strangers for it.

Most scares about sacrifices of people are made up/without evidence/anecdotal, as well, and although some animal sacrifice happens it's usually rare & done by edgy teens(and not just on/because of Halloween).

Wearing a Cowboy Woody costume or Iron Man outfit to get free candy has nothing to do with the devil/will get anyone sent to hell, which is how many celebrate the holiday(and not as shown on scare docs on tv).
