vv221: As long as Transistor and its soundtrack get a decent discount I’ll be happy ;)
That IS a good soundtrack.
But if this separate soundtrack trend continues (16 titles at the moment), I can see GOG opening a sort of music store (as they made with movies), and less soundtracks being bundled with the games -- which will be sold at the same price.

I'm afraid that, with all the good free music we can find on the Internet, the price is a little steep.

I would like to see the Winter Sale last into the New Year!
Prediction :

5-Star General ( Allied General* , Fantasy General , Pacific General , Panzer General* , Star General* ) bundle 60% off
Dungeons & Dragons Collection ( Dark Sun , Krynn , Ravenloft ) bundle 60% off
Forgotten Realms: The Archives Collection bundle 60% off
Warhammer bundle 60% off

Having to pay for soundtracks separately?.
Dont blame gog.
Blame the musicians for wanting payment....really depends on a games contract between the dev and muso supplying the music...

Free music is one thing. Free GOOD music is another. Sometimes you have to pay for good stuff...

I am quite sure that the musicians that worked on the other titles, who bundle the soundtrack for "free", were paid for their work. These artists probably attempted a licensing deal closer to what is made in the film industry, that allows them to retain the rights to further explore their work financially outside of the game medium. I understand that, and it is, in fact, their right.
What I don't appreciate is the price being asked for them. I know this is a very subjective matter, and depends on what each person considers "expensive". For me it does not lead to an "impulse buy" with the game, or likely afterwards.

And finally, yes, there is FREE GOOD music is available legally, under Creative Commons licenses, on the Internet. Isn't that great!? We can get to know nice performers who don't have big marketing budgets.
The id FPSes at discounts comparable Steam's, and a Heretic/Hexen bundle (like Steam's) also released at a discount.

I hope they will add Doom 3 + exp . or Heretic/Hexen to the id FPS bundle and Oblivion to the ES bundle .

I paid a lot for those disc but I'd gladly pitch them and get it here just to get away from all the crap I had to go through to install it off the disc! :P
Blizzard, m$, ubisoft are going to appear here with their back catalog all present at 1.99 a pop.
Outcast 1.1
Sunless Sea (better than 50% off)
Star Trek games
Serpent in the Staglands
Victor Vran
Journeyquest films

And if wishes were cotton candy and as easily eaten:

Dungeons & Dragons - Krynn, Ravenloft and Dark Sun sets.
A Star Trek vs. Star Wars sale.

I'm hoping for at least 75% off these games for the winter sale. One can only dream. *_*

That wouldn't be a very long sale. Luke would kick Kirk's ass in a few seconds flat and the sale would be over.

Except Spock would have the bright idea to negate Luke's connection with the force by using a Ysalamiri (an anti-force creature), giving Kirk a fighting chance.

But Kirk would be sleeping with every female available and too busy to fight.

Good point.

I must assess this conflict further.

This, since none of them appeared in the Fall Sale. Also, Fran Bow, Timelapse, and Toren 50% (or more) off.
