That was the one! Thanks :)

Ok, then, tough choice...Tallima or Phc would be my finalists. Don't suppose I can nominate Phc as the GA host but be in for Tallima with my entry? Or is that cheating?
Best GA nominations:

adamhm with The Big "Try Linux" GOG Game Giveaway - Win XIII, The Witcher 3, SW2013 + much more

adamhm's GA was an excellent linux tutorial. And many, many people added more information about the Linux, showing me how much it changed since i've abandoned it.

Sachys and Foxworks with THE BIZARRELY BONZA BONANZA BAZAAR OF BAZOOKERY - SCROOGE OF THE YEAR EDITION!

The patience must be strong with those two. Sorting, delivering such amount of gifts raised Sachys and Foxworks at the rank of Santa helpers (though i do get a distinct feeling that those two are preparing a coup, but what can you expect from a chimp and a fox, really:))

Klumpen0815 with GA: The infinite wonders of creation - Mark V

Nice to see that some of are GOGers are still making this type of GA - you know something that will make you to do something. Sure, it's not quite for everyone, but it makes people to be creative.

Why this is so limiting dammit:)

Honorable mentions (grrr, why only three GA, grrrr):

moonshineshadow with http://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_community_giveaway]The Community Giveaway

moonshineshadow took the mantle from IAmSinistar and does a really great job handling the heritage. Serious contender for the all-year Santa rank

_Slaugh_ with http://www.gog.com/forum/general/spcg_annual_game_adoptions_giveaway/]SPCG : Annual Game Adoptions (Giveaway)

You know those poor games no one wants?! _Slaugh_ is patiently finding them a good home. It's nice to see someone doing that, too. different tastes and such.

You must decide. ;)
Nice, not in, just nominating.

1) Community GAs (Sinistar/Trent/Moonshine)
2) Slaugh's mystery GA Murder at The GOG manor.
3) PaterAlf's Christmas/Winter Avatar giveaway
Links are already up and I am bad at doing them:)
In no order.

Thanks.

Yeesh...tough call if I can't sneakily get them both on the ballot. I'll make a decision to nominate one of them though. Thanks! :)

Rush -- Freewill

Great song. Great band. You've got good taste in music. :)

I should point out not picking a choice didn't work out so well for Commander Shepard. :(

WARNING!! Mass Effect 3 Spoilers!!
Thanks a lot for generously hosting the "Best Giveaway" giveaway this year triock. Not in for the prize myself but I would surely like to nominate some of the many amazing giveaways this year. It is difficult to narrow down to just three since there are so many wonderful giveaways here almost every month but I have made the difficult decision to go with the following:

Absent Friends... A Gift Can Make A Difference...

Hosted by our resident chimp Sachys and sponsored by the always magnanimous The Sigil which was then enhanced by another gracious donation by chadjenofsky, this was really special since it was all about selflessly giving back to those in need. I have said this many, many times before in the past but it still remains true that the generosity of this absolutely one of a kind community never ceases to amaze me.

I do feel sorry that I missed nominating a charity there but it was an all around fantastic effort which resulted in donations to two great causes so therefore deserves all the recognition and immense appreciation for all parties involved.

A Community Giveaway

Hosted by one of the strongest pillars of this commmunity IAmSinistar and then carried on magnificently by community giftomaniac trentonlf. This one was really unique due to the circumstances which led to its inception, that being the silent worldwide gifting restriction enforced by GOG for a large part of their catalogue. IAmSinistar being the amazing community organizer he is decided that if GOG doesn't allow gifting then he would just do a grand giveaway of his own to keep the spirit of generosity.

That idea then spiraled into what eventually became a community giveaway event where a whole bunch of awesome Goglodtyes contributed a whole lot of gifts to bring joy to their fellow community members. Since the generosity here is seemingly endless the giveaway has become a never ending grand community highlight still being continued till now through "The Community Giveway" being hosted by another community stalwart moonshineshadow. For keeping the torch of thoughtful generosity ablaze on the forum, this one deserves to be recognized amongst the best giveaways of not only this year but of all time.

The Big "Try Linux" GOG Game Giveaway

Hosted with immense generosity by adamhm with not only his amazing penchant for gifting a plethora of games but also for the great time and effort in providing an incredible resource of knowledge regarding Linux. All for the good cause of encouraging the community here to give Linux a try. The wonderful way that adamhm presented the introduction tutorials for Linux and embellished them with puzzles for hidden games really made it unique.

Being in the IT field myself this one was especially interesting to me and I still have the thread bookmarked in my favorites here on the forum for future reference. For his outstanding contributions and everyone else's that chimed in the thread with even more Linux knowledge sharing which was immensely helpful for all of us newbies, this giveaway deserves to be on the best of 2015 list.

There are many other that I would have liked to nominate as well but then the list would be too big for a single post but even if I haven't mentioned any others that are also deserving of some recognition, I still do appreciate each and everyone of them for their wonderful generosity this year. :)

Not in, but here is my Top 3 list :

- "Texas hold 'em" poker tournament by Slaugh.
A very entertaining way to learn and play a poker tournament !

- A Community Giveaway by IAmSinistar.
An open-minded and very generous GA, based on the spirit of the generosity in a community.

- The Community Giveaway by Moonshineshadow.
Same spirit, new hoster = equal talent !
IN for one these nominees getting the $9.99 winnings (If I win, can the $5.99 just get added to the $9.99 for one of these nominees? if not, I still don't want the $5.99 game, it can go to someone else, but I want to be sure I am in for these nominees, because they deserve it!) -

3 in no particular order:

_Slaugh_ - for his numerous giveaways. murder mysteries, a quest for the holy grail, a kidnapped santa, and MORE! Linking the one I won for LUCK. Thanks for awesome GAs, _Slaugh_!

ZFR - for his quarterly series of "GiveAways of 2nd Chances" and MORE others too (here's a link for the 2015 1st quarter GA)! It's always a great thing to get a second chance at something. Giving away second chances? What a concept! I love it! Always appreciative of these, ZFR, lots of thanks to you!!

awalterj - for his numerous highly interesting giveaways (5 or 6 over the past year? maybe more?) They're always creative, well thought out, detailed, and involved, and are some of my favorites to see, do, and read (both his OPs and other participants' entries!) Here's a link to his most recent GA for the new game STASIS. give it a read! And then, because they're worth reading even long after they're over, here's a link to the Technobabylon Deluxe Edition GA - give it a read too if you haven't! I love how you make your GAs, awalterj, thanks for doing them, as always!~!!

Belated Merry Christmas everyone.

Good job, triock. Thanks.

moonshineshadow: Just quoting this, so that it becomse clear that the community giveaway can't be nominated :P
avatar
triock: Not sure about this, will have to consult with AnonyHappyMouse. ;)
Neverending giveaways are eligible.
avatar
Lifthrasil: Not strictly a giveaway, but it's a lot of work to host and therefore I nominate trentonlf for hosting the 'Secret Santa' event.
As you said, it's not strictly a giveaway, so not eligible. Sorry.
