Nicole28: Silly question. Will there be a winter sale, after this fall one? I can't help thinking that GOG usually does the site-wide sales (with extras like the bundles and flash) a max of twice a year, as with Steam.

Which makes the timing of a large sale now a little odd, as there'd be nothing for Christmas, would there?
I think there was a Winter sale last year, but it wasn't a flash sale. I think it was a series of promos.

Well, maybe, maybe not. The Christmas sales tend to be bundle-focused more than individual games.

Also, if memory serves, people voted on which ones got the bigger discount.

Therefore, I think the Christmas sale may still come, just that it will be structured a bit different in key ways.

Well, after the fall insomnia sale last year, which also took place in November, there was still a Christmas sale as well. So I expect there will be one this year as well.
Wow, you guys! Thank you and +1 for the replies. :D

I think you are likely right. A wave of sales with a newly different theme. Can't imagine there not being any for the best season of the year (imo)!

ofcourse it would be possible, assuming they dont reduce the latest games during this fall promo, they can do it around xmas.... so it is always possible to have a big xmas sale...
would be nice if those 40 and 50 plus bucks games would be reduced also with 50plus %...
20euros is more likely to give far better sales then at 40 or 50 bucks.

A digital game will always be profitable at any prices if of course the development costs are handled and the game is done and ready to be sold, then any price will make loads of money.

1)you never run out of stock cause there arent physical items involved
2)never a delay in delivery cause you dont need to a transport service which carries the discs/boxes and manuals.
3) no need for expensive tv /radio commercials

etc etc etc

In my experience gog makes at least one big sale every season, so minimum 4 times the year :)

Never heard of this "Steam", what's that? ;)P

LEISURE SUIT LARRY RELOADED _€ 15.89___€ 3.19.

i guess you want those games? they are 50% off now

How did you guess that? ;)
Yeah I know, but I want it to appear as a Flash, that would be an higher satisfaction (Sinistar wrote that somewhere very good)
Don't know about Book 3, have to start with the first one ;)
Try the demo if you like it. I liked it very much and now I'm lurking for its flash to come %D

Edit: Late, I know, but I had to search and put in the link to Sinistar's post :)

I do remember that majority of their catalogue is usually 50 percent less during Christmas sale, so I hope this thing will remain.

I have a long shopping list :)
How is that Magicmaker game?
