TrollumThinks: At home: Picked up Mount&Blade and clicked on the stamp for W2,
Got to work, logged in: - stamp not showing up and M&B still saying 'get for free'
M&B is in my account so it must've worked, just wondering if the 'stamp' thing is cookie driven and I should be careful of where I pick them up (clicked it again at work to be safe).

HypersomniacLive: See here.
Great, thanks :)
Even though I knew the Fall sale was coming I was still surprised! :D

So many awesome goodies! Thank you so much, GOG! :D

DubConqueror: Yes, grabbing a copy of Shelter that I just missed at the Insomnia sale. I think it will be fun to play a game that's about caring and protecting rather that violence, a game that runs parallel with my daily motivations in life instead of being paradoxically counter my real values, like shooters and such do.
Weird, Shooters don't counter my real values at all. :P

Grogger: Since I already own The Witcher 2, if I collect all the stamps will I be given a gift code for The Witcher 2 that I could give away?

I'm thinking of getting it for someone for christmas while also introducing them to GOG, it's on special right now for a few hours so I'd really like to know soon.
I'd like to know this as well.

Strazdas: Hi, new user here. Is the Witcher 2 offered here is the DRM-Free version? I already bought it on Steam before, however i prefer the DRM-free versions where possible and if it is one id like to take it but if its a steam key then there is no point in trying.
Thanks
Everything on GOG is DRM free. However since you already have it on Steam, you can redeem both Witcher and Witcher 2 on GOG as a backup using the CD Key(s) you have from your Steam version(s): http://www.gog.com/witcher/backup

I'm curious if that's going to extend to Witcher 3 as well...
Hi,

Since this sale will last until the 25th of November, with one month left until Christmas, will GoG.com still do the yearly Christmas/New Year SALE?

You see, I'm holding out for then.

Thank you.
Damn GOG for not having the Linux version of The Chaos Engine. Would instabuy esp. with that price :)

Even if CDP has no plans for it, they may do it eventually after sales have dried up and price have fallen sufficiantly low but would not expect it sooner than year or two after launch. Or they might just start giving it free in various promos like they do with Witcher 1 & 2.

Oh and I hope GOG changes the promo code so that it does not show expired offers. It like rubbing it to customers face (naa, naa! You missed it! Naa, naa!);-p

Oh and forum link in news post no longer show number of comments. It always reads "Be first to comment". It's been like that for awhile.

the Xmas sale is generally a week before the evil empires sale -- first or second week or Dec starts. GOGs that is.
TLJ1! :D
The Swapper will be on promo soon. Everyone should buy it, it's great.
high rated
Since there's quite a lot of people asking, let's clarify:

Both gifts that come from collecting stamps will arrive via e-mail in the form of gift-able codes, so there won't be a problem to give away the game if you already have it and keep the movie (I recommend it! it's really fun) for yourself. :-)

Sorry for not communicating that clearly enough.

Also, the thing with the stamps vanishing after re-logging on GOG: a fix is on the way, and the problem is only with visualization, I believe no stamps have gone missing from anyone's account.
added another nice deal:

INQUISITOR € 11.89 -> € 1.89

i read the reviews and most said it is bugged and flawed, but at 1.89 euro its a steal so i will take the chance and see for myself how good/bad the game really is

just wishlisted a golden wake....

i read some reviews on the internet and in the pcgameplay magazine i buy every month , its cool game but no indiana jones style so 7.99 is still a little high, i wait till the game is older and might be sold at 5.99 EURO.

It's more or less a love-it-or-hate-it-game. I played (and completed) it when it was released here and I had a very good time with it. Sure there are bugs (but I didn't see anything game-breaking) and the combat system certainly isn't the best one ever created, but the story was interesting and the whole game never got boring to me (and it's a pretty long game).

You should really give it a try and find out what's you oppinion on it.
I was wondering... why is it called a "Big Fall Sale"? That's a reference to the Autumn season, right? But it's well into Summer/Winter already - equinox was 51 days go and solstice is only 38 days away.

edit: never mind. I did some research on Wikipedia and it turns out that the season goes on longer than I thought it does.

Man, I'm weak. Got the M&B collection. I loved the original and for long I was thinking about trying Warband.
