phaolo: Also, another user is suggesting BlazBlue.. should I take it or just wait for the sequels?
Most of the sequels are console only. Since Continuum Shift is making it's way to Steam with online multiplayer, that would be the better choice if priced well. The publisher has released games on GOG before so there is a chance that could come here. The question is whether or not that multiplayer component is Steamworks or not. That said, I'd recommend Calamity Trigger if your PC can handle it. It was a bit sluggish on my laptop with AA on in game which gives me the impression it isn't optimized that well. The only downside I can think of is that the multiplayer is local only in Calamity Trigger.

Edit: Changed to reflect new PC port that I just now learned of.

Does Witcher 3 on GOG feature a GNU/Linux version?

Edit: I'm aware that this wasn't the right place to ask this question but I figured that somebody might know. In the end I asked the GOG support and they told me that "Witcher 3 is currently announced only on Windows, PS4 and Xbox One", but that they would add the Mac and GNU/Linux versions if the ever become available.

Yes! <in a very chilling Darth-Vader-In-Tie-Fighter-At-End-Of-Star-Wars-Movie voice> "I have you now!" :-)

Got the one remaining one I knew for sure I wanted: Dreamfall: The Longest Journey!

Also, I earlier saw IAMSinistar's debating about picking up The Pit: Gold Edition just to get it "owned" and thought: What an idea! Also means I won't have to worry about installing the games and patches in the right order for all the content it covers.

I noticed several GOG members talking about putting their wishlists on GOGWiki -- how does one get there? I just tried searching in Google and within GOG, both to no avail.

gamefood: And you got a "+1" free on top! ;)
Already tried the first one? I assume you like it, because you bought the second part :)
yes, but sometimes the follower up arent that good, it happens sometimes.
So i made sure that i would like it.

2 minor things though:

i also have avernum and avadon and i got used to scrolling the map by moving the mouse like in Avadon, it seems that Eschalon and Avernum require to click where the arrow points in order to move across the map,
plus the whole party moves like a necklace with beads alltogether, and that is a funny way to animate things, but it isnt very pro-like, each character should move by himself, or like they do in Avadon.

So the graphics might be better in Avernum and Eschalon, the works and playability and ease of playing in Avadon is way better.

I assumed they all used same system like Avadon, but they don't.
So i guess i will be playing Avadon much more cause

1)it plays better,
2)the combat system with the tiles is much better

only downside for me is the 1024x768 being the the lowest possible resolution,
all the others are much higher, so i have quite small characters on my 17inch CRT screen, but then again all the characters in the games are quite small.

The Fallout and Jagged Alliance characters are better sized.
So Avadon will be my alltime favorite seing all the differences, and would be the only game i would pay 8 bucks for.
Its a pity the control system of the other 2 games is such a hassle.
Do you think that the Tex Murphy bundle will reapear sometime in the future (christmas sale, spring sale)? I want it on the one hand, but promised myself to not buy more games this year on the other - have a huge backlog as it is already...

you mean the tex murphy fedora pack now at 5.76 euro?

if you are a fan of the genre then i suggest you to buy it now , cause although the pack might return on sale you can never know for sure, if i liked the pack i would buy it now regardless of how many games i own.

i am also only buying now and not playing, but as far as i can see i only need a few of the latest games, and these wont be at 50% or more off,

a golden wake looks nice but like the reviews in the games magazines said its not like the other great adventures so at €11.89 its to high, i think it was only 33% off, and thats still alittle to low reduction, 50% would be better.
So i wait till the game is older and wil be at 5.99 euro in a promo.

mm same with Shadowrun Returns Dragonfall to me :) Too much for only 33% discount, ended up buying about 8 classic games though with 60-90% discounts... Ehm, this equaled over Dragonfall's price BUT that's not the point!
I'd like to thank both GOG and TaleWorlds for the free promo for Mount & Blade which I picked up while the promo was on as I'd heard great things about the series on and off all year long and had finally added it to my wish list months ago.

The day before I had just said to a friend "I'd like to try out a new game, something totally new and different from the usual games I play." but I didn't have any particular thing in mind. I installed Mount & Blade the next day and well... I've been playing it like a total junkie addict every day since pretty much non-stop. What an addictive game! LOL My only regret was that I didn't pick up the rest of the series while it was on promo, and I missed it showing up again a few days ago apparently (due to playing the game non-stop pretty much hehe). Everyone says the newer games are even way more addicting plus multiplayer so I look forward to that in the future once I wear out the first game. Hopefully they'll pop up for a final encore, or during the winter holiday promo.

Does the multiplayer mode of any of these games support multiple people playing the full blown strategy/RPG game as different adventurers/parties/factions, or is it just all arena combat similar to Chivalry Medieval Warfare? I'm hoping it has both types of gameplay but either would be a blast.

Has anyone had a look at the teaser videos and screenshots of Mount & Blade 2 by chance? It looks mind blowing amazing! I hope they do a day 1 GOG release of that when it comes out. It very well may be one of the few games that convinces me to pay the opening price due to high anticipation whimsy. :)

Anyhow, thanks for bringing these games to GOG TaleWorlds, they're must-haves!

high rated
The Ether One devs are liars and I would have to recommend you not support White Paper Games. They promised a Mac version in March with no intention of delivering and it's all just excuses on twitter since.

Sadly they hurt other devs, because obviously I've learned my "mac coming soon" lesson. Lovely Planet - will you ever wind up on my shelf?

Is there a community mod or something that fixes LoK Defiance gameplay?
I'd like to see the series' ending, but many reviews say that this game is full of reused boring areas.. even Soul Reaver 2 had some problems with that after half.

Also.. effin' Eschalon saga for 6$!
Do I need it, even if I already own Geneforge and Avernum?

Eschalon bundle
Movie bundle + A free movie
Paper Please
Deponia 3
Botanicula
Stacking

Not bad all all. :) A mix of games I already own elsewhere and wanted an ultimate GOG copy and new movies to watch.

i think you need it :D

I needed it and at this price its a steal,
needing a game doesnt also mean you have to play it :D,
i have some games for 2 bucks which were 12 bucks :D
so its more needing sometimes then playing.

ESCHALON: BOOK III € 11.89 € 2.39

tada! its complete now, chances i play them is quite small, cause like i said: Avadon has less graphics but it plays better, and that is what counts the most for me, it also plays easier then avernum and eschalon.

oops, geneforge, i went to the page to see what is was, appears i already had that aswell:
i checked my library:

Geneforge Saga
Purchased on Nov 14, 2014

oof thats bad, i bought so much , i dont even know what i have bought :D
The danger of buying things on Steam because they're dirt-cheap, like the Legacy of Kain series for 3,99: I automatically will buy them again if they're on sale on GOG, so I lose money twice on games that just add to my backlog, as I'll never get around to playing them anyway. I'm an addict.
