Hmm, I purchased two games from the flash sale and now on the frontpage both games continue to show as "in cart" even though they're already purchased. My cart in the top righthand corner also shows as having 2 items in it, but when I click "checkout now" I get a screen saying "your order is empty". I've closed out Firefox and reloaded, but it changes nothing. Odd...

Games added to account but no confirmation email. I also had to logout twice.

When traffic gets high, the account updater starts to lag. Refreshing your account could help, but it'll likely just be a short matter of time until it works itself out.

The games will be there, but your activity isn't updated. So your actual account knows you own the games, but the website doesn't yet. Since the update, you get lag from responding to forums and messages. It'll still show the "1" until it gives you an update. I'm guessing it's the same sort of thing going on here. Though I could be totally wrong (I often am!).

I'm not sure the refresh will work. But it might. Either way, it should work itself out after a little while.

Witcher 1 is half price-can anyone tell me how long that price will last-because I see that on many games it lasts only couple of hours-please tell me-I can't buy it now-not at home

The base 50% discount usually lasts until the end of the sale (November 25 in this case). However, Witcher 1 may appear among the flash deals with a higher discount.

Since I already own The Witcher 2, if I collect all the stamps will I be given a gift code for The Witcher 2 that I could give away?

I'm thinking of getting it for someone for christmas while also introducing them to GOG, it's on special right now for a few hours so I'd really like to know soon.

Since it's not a Flash Deal at the moment, it will likely have that discount during the whole sale. Except when it becomes a Flash Deal, then it will be marked down even more. You can either wait for that to happen, or otherwise grab it at the end of the sale for the current discount.

Games with -50% don't even show as discounted in search filter for whatever reason.
