FiXato: Also, keys expire: 31 Dec 2014
That's quite a short expiry time, isn't it? I cannot remember to have seen an expiry time for the Dungeon Keeper or Torchlight codes I got, but I think I gifted them more than 6 weeks after I got them. Seeing that almost everyone who's on GOG now will get a copy of The Witcher 2 and not so many people will join GOG and be known on the forums in the next 6 weeks there's not much use for the Witcher code.

But at least thanks for the free movie, GOG! It made me even redeem the other 2 free movies today, now that my nice game library will be cluttered by movies anyway. :P

Edit: I know they are on different shelfs (thanks!), so at least not visually mixed up. :)

fronzelneekburm: Redeemed my "The Gamers" key. If the film turns out to be anything but complete garbage, I will be pleasantly surprised.

The deadline on redeeming those keys is pretty tight, so I'll probably give away that Witcher 2 key before the end of the year.
Well not complete garbage.

For good reason, there was no expiration date on those giveaway codes.

I understand that there's an expiry date on free codes, but I would have expected at least half a year or a year. Maybe it's better not to buy The Witcher 3, then you can use the code yourself when it's given away when The Witcher 4 is released. :P
All stamps collected. Thanks again GOG for yet another great promo!

Whoa, American Conquest + FIght Back run in a 1920x1080 resolution. I was already prepared to be knocked out by pixels, but it looks very good.

Haven't seen any new flash deals in a while that's interested me/is in my wishlist. >_>

Hmmm...
That Wadjet Eye bundle is pretty awesome. Since playing the first 3 games of Blackwell series I know I am going to love all of their games. Speaking of which, I have already bought some of the games included in the bundle (like Primordia on Steam). However, GOG's version of Primordia seems to have a lot of extras that don't show up on Steam. Don't know whether it has the same extras or not (if any. to be honest, I still have to play it). Could someone please fill me in on this?

Regardless, great price for those games.

Has anyone else noticed that downloading The Witcher 2 from GOG is going incredibly slow? I'm literally getting like 30 KB/sec when I usually can get over 1 MB/sec from GOG. I pretty much have no way to download the game at this slow speed. Is GOG aware of the issue?

It was not so slow for me, but when downloading the movie it was a lot slower than usual.

I do not think it is an issue, it is just a load of people downloading Witcher 2 I guess.

I'm getting my usual 1+ MB/s for the game.

I tried re-downloading it another 3-4 times and now it seems to be going ok. I guess the servers must really be overloaded for that game and movie. :P

Update: and once again it's down in the kilobyte range. I guess I'll have to download The Witcher 2 some other day. :-/

It is not a sign that one has too many games when one has all the games from both bundles, is it? :-)

Nah... just means the wallet gets a reprieve for a day...
