818 games

I'd probably be at 1000 if I hadn't had to stop working. I don't think I've played 25 for more than an hour since I got here, I might have finished 5.

I've got 4 weaknesses that cost me money:
- computer games
- junk food
- beer
- books

Strippers and porn used to be there as well but they have less power on me now that I'm passed middle age. Not that I do not still appreciate pictures of nude women. And I don't need to spend money for them anymore.

vicklemos: Do you think it's feasible for one to beat/play in a more ''in depth'' way at least 40 games a year? I know, depends on the choice of games... but, overall, feasible?
Take a look at the "Games finished in $year" threads, there's people with 50 or more in 2015 (I remember Enebias (49, 8 of which were RPGs, which is only two less than me, and I spent most of the year on them, while he finished 41 other games) and Grargar (70! no wonder he's smug :p)). This year has a number of people at 20+, Grargar, Austrobogulator, SCPM, etc.

So yeah, definitely possible.

Oh, thanks! I'll check it ;)
But the question remains: is it feasble?
ps: I'm a father of two 2yr olds who are, currently, crayon-ing the bedroom walls + household pets + biting each others arms/shoulders + learning how to poop and pee in safety
No joke ;D
THE QUESTION REMAINS!
307 here. Under 30 on Steam.
78. I am not even relevant here.

True but that's because you're from Canada.

I'M JOKING!!! I'M JOKING!!!

Prah: My account got 300 games a few weeks ago, I should really stop buying games and start playing them instead :P
Didn't you hear? Buying is the NEW playing. You're doing great! :)

Don't worry about it. I heard about a guy in Sparta who is at -300.

Maighstir: ... um, uhh... 885? *hangs head in shame*
Come on! People like you make me think I don't have a problem! :-(

100 "Wow! So many! How will I play all of them?"
200 "Oops! Maybe I got a bit carried away..."
300 "Where did *these* came from?"
400 "Well, there are guys out there with lots more games..."

It is like looking at TVs in a store. Once you see the really big ones, no other TV will seem "too big" any more.

Get a projector instead. Good luck getting a 92" LCD through your door, and that is fairly small for a projector screen.

Do those things work well on a wall? Can you discern small details, like reading text? Doesn't the image get distorted if the projector is not placed at an exact angle facing the wall?
I have 95. I should really get 4 more some day...
Too many. But then again, not enough.

If the wall is white, yes.

Similar to a television screen, provided the same resolution and that the image covers a similar portion of your view.

Yes, but most projectors have options to alleviate that to some extent (called "keystone", or more accurately, "keystone correction"). Keystone correction, though, is most often not a mechanical/analogue function, but a digital one, meaning that one side will use fewer display pixels than the other.

I've read the GOG forums via the PS3 and XBox 360 browsers just for kicks, then again, my projector is only 720p so that's what I've set the consoles to output, I use a screen to project on (which I pull down in front of a door), and the projector is angled almost-but-not-quite exactly 90° onto the screen.

203 games on GOG, yay?

Then again, I have almost 1300 games on steam.
