I've searched high and low, and there isn't a fix that I can find.

I can't even create a multi-player game to test it.

I've attached a file explaining the multi-player fix for the 1.4 version back when it came out.

I could not post the explanation here for some reason, the forum would not allow it, saying it included links when it did not.

Unfortunately this does not work on the GoG version.

Was multiplayer intentionally turned off in the GoG version?

Perhaps this easy fix is the solution, or someone can figure it out from this older fix.

Edit: Oh, and the above works, the game is great, I firebombed a friend of mine and stole half of his territory in two turns.

Hi guys. Multiplayer does in fact work. I just wish I could alt-tab mid-game without breaking the game. Or have the game work in windowed mode somehow. At any rate, I play online games just fine. People can host using their public IP address, or using a virtual lan such as Hamachi or Evolve. If anyone is interested and knows people who might join, we could play either pvp or co-op vs AI. Maybe we can make a Skype group.

EDIT: You don't need to do any multiplayer fix for the GOG version. Multiplayer works just fine. If anyone is interested, please PM me if you wish.

Multiplayer works but it's seems impossible to reload games. You have to play the game in one shot.

Look up Gangsters organized Crime on Facebook to find the work around if you have issues. And u can save the game and come back to it. You don't have to play it in one Shot.
