Hi,

I'm running Win7 64-bit. The game installs fine. The menu works, the colours are correct, and the organisation page is fine. When I 'hit the streets' however, the game begins chugging, especially when you try to move the mouse. The screen occasionally blanks out before recovering, but eventually the game crashes on its own.

I would really like some help with this. None of the fixes (all for other issues, so no surprise) work for me. I've tried running it in multiple different compatibility modes, to no avail. I've disabled my GPU and tried to run it, but the game won't even launch when I've done that.

I really don't know what to do. Please help me! I loved this game as a kid and was so excited to see I could get it again.

Hi Mickey,

My cousin had the same issue for years, with the real CD game and the GoG version too.
BUT yesterday we found a working solution !

With the help of this topic : http://www.gog.com/forum/gangsters_organized_crime/not_working_on_windows_7
He installed the Windows Compatibility Manager stuff and run the game through it.

And it worked. We even played online via Hamachi, 3 weeks already ran and no problem so far. (Well, I don't consider a 4 gangs gunfight on a bridge like a problem... Haha)

I hope it will answer your problem !

See ya
