I've now just reloaded my game to continue and I find I can no longer move ANY ship.

I get the "this is out range <blah><blah><blah> hope no-one is afraid of the dark <blah><blah><blah>" everytime. Even if the destination is one square from my planets. Even if it IS one of my planets (ie 0 squares away).

Try reload again. Same result.

Game over. Simple as.

What is your major malfunction Stardock?

Anyone else ever had this?

(Unlikely I'll wager, as I bet it's another 1:1,000,000,000,000 against event - that I get two of in 48 hours - no-one else would even get one in a zillion years - f-k u God - f-k u reality etc)

No, I've never had this happen to me. o.O

Have you tried ending the turn, to see whether the game recalculates the ship-range? Low chance for that working, but I don't know what could have caused this problem in the first place. Maybe your installation got corrupted somehow or Win 10 is acting up? I really don't know.

Sorry, that I can't be of more help. I usually can explain most things about GalCiv 2, but this time I'm stumped.

Your best bet is probably to contact Support. Maybe they can help you out.

Shows you my luck levels though doesn't it? Guanathor must have 1000's hours in this game and it's a new one on him!
I've been playing it about 50 hours, and wham, there it is.

I'm sure the installation is ok, mind you I have noticed corruption on the Yor's diplomacy screen. You'll probably know already there are different viewscreen sequences depending on how well they like you. The Yor's sequence where their eyes are yellow coloured (presumably when they have "cool" relations) flashes and stutters.

The downright shitsucking Windows 10 is indeed always a suspect!

That is pretty lucky actually! Too bad it's the wrong kind of luck.

Yes, that's a known issue. There seem to be some white frames in the video, which cause the flickering. I'm not artistically inclined (i.e. can't wrap my head around video editing software) or I would have fixed it already in my mod.

As for the Yor eyes: yellow = neutral, green = they like you, red = they hate you.

Well, let's hope your game goes better from now on!
