I just started gk3 and I have done everything in the first couple of hours. Ive looked up 3 walkthroughs and can not figure out what Im missing. I have 42 of the 40 points you need to pass the first couple of hours and it just wont move on... could it be a bug or something? No one else seems to be having this problem.

Well, since there are quite a few things to do is pretty hard to try and guess what you could have missed.

As i see it you have 3 choices:

-go over everything again to try and spot what you've missed
-start over and follow the exact steps of the walkthrough to make sure you don't miss anything
-grab the savegame that starts at 12 from here and move on from there

Edit: Oh, just noticed you have more points than required. I guess it could be a bug, maybe the savegame is the best option then.

Off the top of my head, my guess is you missed the scene where Emilio and the British ladies swap rooms. If you miss it, you can move on by checking the hotel registry again. Gabriel will notice that some guests have moved around. Leave the room, then boom, you're in the next time block.
