Hey all,
I just started playing GK1 and in the manual I read that the graphic novel (that was included in the original boxed version of the game) provides a good backstory.
GOG's version of GK1 doesn't provide this novel, but it is available for free from a website that claims to be a GOG affiliate. It's quite hard to read (the quality is pretty low) but with some effort it can be understood.
I currently don't have enough rep to post the link, but it can be found on the website called Sierrahelp.com
I hope I'm not violating any copyrights by posting this. If I did, I sincerely appologize. My only intention is to help other fans of the GK series complete their experience. Because of the site's affiliation with GOG I thought it would be no problem.
Cheers!
PS
I also found a version of a much better quality, but that's on a fan community page. With copyright issues in mind I will not post a link to that, unless I get approval for that.
