I have just downloaded the mac .pkg file and the installer skips the option for a location. It seems to install the game correctly, but comes up halfway with a random popup to choose a location (Im assuming for the location of where you want to install it, but when I check that location after the install theres nothing there.) What is the location that the game installs into by default?

The popup is not random. Did you actually choose something? If so what? If nothing else I guess you could try again and choose your Desktop folder.

Never seen it myself, but there are few workarounds over here. #25 is the GOG support manual method reposted and #24 is just wait until it times out.
