alcaray: 1) Looks like many had basically the same answer, so forgive me for not choosing yours (whichever one you are) as the solution.
2) I guess that it's just one of those maddening inconsistencies that some bombs, in their description, state that they teleport and some bombs do not.
3) It is also strange that missiles all say they have shield evasion (I think that's the wording, without going back to the game to recheck) of 5, but that bombs are said to teleport. Does this mean that missiles sometimes are stopped by shields but bombs are never stopped by shields? Or is there some other difference in their behavior? I think it would be pretty silly if the only difference was the animation, where the description would lead you to believe that there is some functional difference.
-anyway, thanks guys.
1.) No problem, just glad to help.
2.) I never noticed that some bombs failed to say that they teleport. But yeah, bombs teleport, missiles ignore standard shields, but green shields will deflect them both, and drones can shoot down missiles.
3.) The missiles probably have that property because they have to physically move through the shields, whereas bombs are teleported. See, the maximum shields one can have is 4, so "shield penetration 5" is basically the game's way of saying "this ignores shields".
