I don't care about next-gen graphics. I also don't like OS overload.

However, what I do care about is interesting gameplay and a slick and stable OS environment.

Just informing you that if FP2 does not support Win 7 I will ignore the game. Simple as that.

what the other user tried to say with the 2 links is that if the game is designed for directx 12 it is impossible to run in older OS because of the directx12 software and ... hardware calls .

even you install dxvk or vk3d to try to use vulkan's api and driver over directx12, if the game created for directx 12, it is impossible to work with vulkan as i did for gw2 that was actially a directx 9 game because the new versions of directx actually means ... EXTRA H/W ON VGA!

As a still Windows 7 user my self too, i want to say that i am disappointed because frostpunk2 was in my whilist too and now i have to removed it!
