What I said in topic title it is a little controversial but these are my feelings after reading other people's opinions. I'm a fan of survival and strategy games so I'd like to test Frostpunk by myself but it will have to wait as current price is too high for me. Nonetheless, I frequently monitor Frostpunk's forums (here on GOG and on Steam) reading topics and posts.

I can agree that many people can play the game without problems but the amount of people who can't even launch the game without any errors is very noticeable here. That could be a sign that game was rushed or its installation files weren't prepared good enough.

Some people also stated that they finished main campaign in just 3 hours - isn't that too short for this game? Yes, these players maybe were rushing but they also could be hardcore strategy players (like me) and the game was just "easy". Also as I can read, this game has no sandbox mode and can not be prolonged (even artificially) - when you finish campaign there is no simple option to continue, it's just "the end" - I think it's also not good.

hmm i somewhat agree whit that you can play trough the senarico's pretty fast but it doesn't feel rushed to me all the artwork is good and they have sound and mechanics havn't encountered a bug yet

not sure how sandbox would work but it seems a fun idea
the devs. promise big updates(even if i would take them a while to push them out)

and you should get all achivements that should keep people busy tbh

Yes, the art and sound look good (I watched some lets plays) but by "rushed" I mean mostly "so many problems with running the game" and (here is your quote):

which can translate as "not enough content for a start".

Well, it's rather not so difficult to visualize - after all it's a game of survival? And, as I said, you should be able to continue play with your current city after campaign ends - that's the most important thing.

I am not using Galaxy - are achievements visible just in game?
regarding achiements
for me they show up ingame but i use galaxy so... i don't think they keep track then .. but there some can be fun or hard to get like.

Unskilled labour:
Finish any scenario whitout constructing any steam or advanced buildings

Urban planner:
Have 300 people living the heat zone of a single Steam Hub.

Worse Than Londen:
Finish a playtrough whitout building a single house or bunkhouse
(better then londen:
Finish a playtrough whitout building a single tent (this one is to eazy) )
