I've only just completed the tutorials but this, combined with my Black Widow flightstick is pretty much what my PC was made for! WOW, what a game!

Sorry to gush but this is just so much damn fun. :D

Pretty much. Out of curiosity are you playing Freespace 1 or 2? (both are awesome I'm just curious)

Sorry for the late reply - Internet out of action for a while...!

Freespace 2, and loving every minute off it! I take it there are some excellent mods out there to further enhance the experience, must try those. :)

Yes, there are mods. Be sure to use the Freespace 2 Source Code Project (the SCP, aka FS2Open). Along with the MediaVPs to get high resolution textures. Plus you can then get the Freespace 1 mod to run Freespace 1 within Freespace 2.
