I've seen an announcement of two new DLCs (one of them, with Adventure Mode for Milla and Torque as playable character, is supposed to be released in December). Well, that's at least the announcement on Steam's forum. What about GOG? Will it be available here as well, with the same date of release?
I'm storming to the Steam forums to ask that out. The track record for game updates to this seems well. Okay, posted my question over there, hopefully the developers ACTUALLY see us as non-second class citizens, and I've faith in them in that.

However, Torque? And Milla's adventure mode? Whew! I can now scrap Milla's classic mode and sit back and wait, but not after I first enjoy Torque!

EDIT: I got a word from the developer, Seraphna:
"Yes, it will show up everywhere. It's being added to the game as a normal update."

Oh, I just noticed the same date of release question. I'd rather not ask this question to the developers, as they themselves are unsure of when it'll be released, but as long as I'm told that it'll be coming to GOG, then I shall wait patiently until then.

So I'll add to that question - will it be a free upgrade for everyone? I heard it will be, but never saw any confirmation whatsover.

Here's a question from "chris" on Steam's forums:
Free patch or paid DLC?
Seraphna's response?
Cheap as Free.

I myself am not sure why they call these kind of updates "DLC" as they're just regular updates, but DLC means Downloadable Content so it isn't really incorrect either, just not what we're used to in today's world where DLC usually means paid downloadable content.
Thanks PookaMustard, that's a good news! Unfortunately, delays in updates for GOG versions of various games are not something rare, but in this case - I'm really happy with this announcement from Seraphna.

No problem. Yeah, delayed updates are quite a big problem everywhere where there is a big store and smaller stores around it, and we're on of these smaller store because, you know. This problem takes a toll when you're uncertain of whether the game will be updated for you. But in this case, at least its a delay and not an entire refusal of having updates. GalaxyTrail is much better than Lovely Planet's dev by now, who outright called the GOG version "inferior".

I'm also happy myself. With patience I'll be able to play as Torque. Yeah!

PookaMustard:
On the lone meaning of the 'DLC' I would disagree - there are fee DLCs out there, so the term doesn't mean it must be paid. Rather it's more like 'optional stuff, download it if you want', but that's just my opinion. :)
And thanks for the news - now we only have to wait.

We'll wait and see. Assuming by your definition, DLC is optional downloaded content. In other words, it must be counted as a separate download and not as an update to an existing title that will be mandatory on all new downloads. If its the latter, it would've been better off named an update, and it wouldn't sound wrong either considering there are games that add a huge ton of content under the guise of free 'update' rather than free 'DLC'.

No problem. Yeah, it'll be a wait, but at least we know it'll come and we'll not be left behind in a limbo.
I really all depends. Sometimes we got tons of "dlcs" which are mostly cosmetic items made just to charge us more. Sometimes even ripped content from the base game! But... there are also jewels like this, when the dev, after releasing the game still adds stuff to it, big on at that, for no charge at all. Only if more could do that...
Yeah, even releasing DLC or additional updates like this gives the publishers that do them a competitive advantage over the others. I'm lucky that Freedom Planet ended up under such good publishing/developing.

Though my concern here is will it fix that annoying Milla bug in Fortune Night or not. This bug is just...

What bug are you talking about? I don't think I've ever had a bug as Milla.

Fire up Fortune Night (with Milla obviously), and advance up until you get to one of these spinning things... I don't know how to describe them exactly, but they spin depending on your character's speed and spins for half a circle to bring you to the other side with your current speed. I guess that'll do.

Now, before these spinny things, there are springs leading to them. What do you do? You jump on a spring beforehand and then keep holding the A button to fly above the spin. You'll get a falling Milla with really slow horizontal movement and even when she falls, she'll remain in fall stance and moving forcedly to the direction you pressed in.

I'll just accompany my explanation with a video of the glitch, bear in mind I found it by simply playing the game as intended and that I wasn't looking out for bugs or anything. The guy in the video took some tries trying to do it but I found it on the first time I went to that place with Milla.

Wow, that was awesome lmao! Though it's so hard to pull off. Now that you know about it, why don't you just not do it? Can't be that annoying if it's that uncommon, right?

In the video, it appears to be so hard to pull off, but in reality its just plan easier, especially when if you get to every spring you see, you reach for that A button to either fly or Cyclone your way out, which I always do to get the most out of my jumps. I could replicate this glitch more easily and more often.

Isn't it faster to run along those things rather than to fly over them? Just jump off before you start going straight down to clear the gap.
