My kids and I just finished this first chapter. It had a ton of charm, beautiful backgrounds, and characters. Puzzles were for the most part, fair. Leah's sly personality showed through. Breaking radios, stealing flowers and keys, etc.

I want to emphasize that we loved this chapter, and are looking forward to the rest of the game! Great job guys!!

Some suggestions for improvement, if interested.

English grammar - There were some awkward English phrases. I'll try and play through again to catalog these.

Puzzles -
1. I got stuck on one puzzle and needed to consult a walk through. I did not make the connection to feed the cat with the pie. Maybe if Leah would comment about how hungry the cat seemed, or something? We picked up on the window being important though.

2. Boiling the fertilizer to grow the tricolor, we stumbled on. Stealing the bottle from Corsak made sense, as there was a strong enough hint that Leah would like to if Corsak wasn't around. However, what the bottle contained, boiling it, or using it on the tree by the burnt out house were all guesses. From the herb book it did make sense that the tricolor was near the burnt out house.

3. Dropping the magnet in the hollow at the top of the tree in order to get the missing piece to the grandfather's locked chest, was a guess. Seemed a little bit random.

We were very happy with the rest of the puzzles.

It would be nice if using the mouse wheel moved the inventory up and down.

Just started the game (or at least this act) a second time after the big update arrived. I really enjoy the new features and the way the game behaves a lot. Especially I like the "questlog" you have when talking to Leah. Also I am glad that the camera pan you see when you first chose your language has been reinserted no matter if you access the Galaxy version or the offline installer. It's beautiful so it would be a shame to omit it. The "Deutsch" mistake in the first language selection screen has been corrected as well. I could still find very minor bugs in the German localisation but I will post them in the bug thread another time. This is gonna be an amazing game and I already recommended it to several of my friends :)

But I have a question regarding the game logic. When you leave grandma's house you are supposed to get tea, But still Leah forces you to first take a look at the workshed and I was wondering what HER reason for this would be.

Be assured I will do so - including screenshots. Don't worry. In general I have to say the German localisation is unusually good. We are talking about minor things here. :)

Oh, I completely understand this. I was talking about it story wise. Leah is ordered to get some tea. So her first instinct would be to visit Kosak before searching the workshed. The fact that she tells the player that she first have to search the workshed before visiting Kosak shows that the game wants you to do so but Leah does not have any real reason to prioritize her tasks this way, you see what I mean?

I want to know what the toys (glass shard, ball, doll) are for- either now or in a new chapter. It makes no sense to give us items that do nothing, and no way of setting them down.

Also, "Creation of the World" is intriguing- here's hoping we find more books in the future!

Okay, now there is a new book and- this is cool- it both expands the lore and helps solve the puzzle lock.

Just completed the first chapter. Came here to say Thank you to developers. I was totally immersed in this game. Even tried to enquire Wikipedia about Foxtail mushrooms ;)

I always figured it was because she was given the key by Grandma before leaving to get the tea, and was curious to see what it unlocked. It's mentioned fairly early on that she liked hanging out in there when Grandpa was working. It kinda makes sense that she would want to take a quick peek in for nostalgia's sake before going to go get the tea.

Well, then maybe she sould say something like "I am far too curious what this key is about. Before walking off into the woods I will have to take a look at the workshed." or something similar. Otherwise the player realizes that it's all just game mechanics.

That's not a bad idea, actually.
