The war in Ukraine has been going on for 15 months now. For 15 months now, russian troops have been killing our people, destroying cities, and bombarding us with missiles and kamikaze drones. Every night is anxiety, every night without sleep. Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Lviv...
Today is a particularly difficult day for me. At night, russian kamikaze drones destroyed my home art school. Needless to say, it was a special place for me, a place of happiness, creativity, and discovery. A place where I opened up to the world, where I realized what I was capable of. A place of memories and dreams. And today it is gone, it is completely destroyed. Why?
Because our neighboring country is so pathetic and because such miserable creatures fill it. Because the war is not over.
And we continue to live and continue to create because this is the only thing we know how to do and love. And we believe that we will live to see the moment when it's all over.
I am very happy that I have FoxTail, which allows me to break away from the horrors of this world and plunge into the world of dreams, kindness, and warm childhood memories.
Just to let you know, although information is sketchy:

Here in America Donald Trump has been condemned for failing to call Putin a war criminal.

Just so you know, because the media here sure as hell cannot be trusted, there is a possibility Trump will run for President in 2024. Since it does not look as though this war is going to end any time soon that means he may be President while it is still happening.

Here's what the media does not tell you: If Trump calls Putin a war criminal now and then wants to try to negotiate a cease-fire or an end to the war how will he be able to do so? If he has called Putin a war criminal he will have to stick by it or lose all credibility, especially here where they will hammer on that. If he sticks by it then why would Putin even consider negotiations, since being declared a war criminal means life in prison or even death by execution?

In other words by not calling him a war criminal now Trump is leaving open the door to at least some possibility of being able to negotiate a way out of this in the future. It is the best thing he can do for the Ukraine now.

Putin is a war criminal. He is responsible for war crimes, and he should not be allowed to negotiate his way out of responsibility for those war crimes. Negotiating with Putin is what allowed him to start the war against Ukraine in the first place. If Trump really believes that negotiation with Putin will prevent him from committing further war crimes in the future, then he is a fool.
For the umpteenth time, this war was fated to happen long ago. If you read up on history it goes back even before the fall of the Soviet Union decades ago. The Ukraine happens to be in one of the worst geographical locations it's possible to be in right now.

And no, Trump is no fool. One does not eliminate ANY possibility at a ceasefire and negotiation now, nothing. Idealism and even certain reality has no place in the real world, especially when so many lives are at stake. Anyone who calls Putin a war criminal now and is elected President will have absolutely no chance of ending this short of all-out war, and if you think it's bad now just wait until THAT happens, especially with in this insane dystopia of a modern world it escalates to nuclear exchanges. You don't dance with sledgehammer boots through a minefield.
