rncwnd79: Game version on Steam is 1.9.7.1. Will GOG gamers eventually get the update too?

It's only 1.9.7 on the experimental branch on Steam not the main release branch. You can also access this on GOG:

• Open GOG Galaxy
• Click Owned games
• Right-click on Foundation
• Click Manage installation - Configure
• Under Beta channels, choose experimental
This will initiate a download. Relaunch the game after it’s been updated
