So finished eob2. went to transfer the characters using "charcopy". Problem is Charcopy wont run on my computer - Windows 8 os.
Googled / searched for answers. Are there any ?

Shouldn't you be able to import characters from option in EoB3 starting menu? That's how it worked IIRC.

Unfortunately not. When selecting the import option the game tells you to exit and use charcopy to import the characters, taking only the first 4.
tried running in xp compatibility mode as well .

CHARCOPY is a DOS program from the same vintage as EOB3 itself, so you most likely need to run it under Dosbox.

So after moving the eob2save file to eob3 directory. and running charcopy through the dos box. IT worked. says it copied the characters. But EOB "summon heroes" option still says to run charcopy... maybe a bug ?

ps. it is SOLVED. Look for the thread "Ending of EOB, transfer Eob2 to Eob3".
Practically, rename the file FINAL.SAV to TRANSFER.SAV without any other process by charcopy.exe program.
