Cannot get past the create character screen. When attempting to create a character the game will allow me to create the stats and edit the picture. When it comes to the edit the icon page the game will not accept any selections such as next, prev, keep or exit. Also noticed that the exit to dos option is not present on the first screen after entering the password. Game will run the sample saved games but no access to Phlan with those saved games so cannot make any progress as a work around. I am running Windows 10 and an Nvidia graphics card. Just upgraded to Windows 10 so do not have another system to game on at the moment. Any assistance appreciated!

Have the exact same problem. When it gets into this state, pressing the highlighted key doesn't activate the command, it just highlights that command in white. Nothing seems to "enter" the command.

Anyone know of a fix? Game is unplayable like this... :(

EDIT:
Hmm, seems the workaround is to just accept the default character icon during creation, and modify it later once in-game (where the exit button works properly).
