THANK YOU! This was driving me nuts last night because when I was trying to use the computer "code wheel" program as copy protection every time I switched windows, the dosbox window Pool was running in became smaller, and I couldn't get it to go fullscreen again.

Of course, I could just have no idea how to use dosbox or get this to work. When you alt-tab through windows with Dosbox running is there a way to get it fullscreen again after you've swapped?

Yes. Just press Alt-Enter to switch between fullscreen and windowed.

Another useful tip: Pressing Ctrl-F10 will end keyboard and mouse capture, allowing you to Alt-Tab and use the mouse to switch applications.

I think Alt+ENTER should do the trick, at least on windows.

Yes and that one doesn't work with gog version of Eye 1, from: Eye of Beholder Trilogy. Maybe those info works with the other d&d games.

I hadn't posted yet the info because maybe gog administrators doesn't like to see us talking about this kind of things.
When i translate in italian eye of beholder 1 i choose to edit obviously the last version, the eye of beholder trilogy version, and i noticed that all the cracks around the web wasn't working with that version of the game, so i create my own crack.

If you read the original news release and interviews about it they specifically left the basics codewheels in because it was part of some people's memories of it. I don't think they're worried so much about people bypassing DRM when it was only left in for nostalgia's sake. (Because it doesn't crash the game or cause further issues like some more invasive DRM solutions.)

If i want to left the copy protection for a "people memories matter" i left it. Here we have a copy protection question where any answer you type it's ok. So it's a copy protection bypassed.

I guess that ONLY for that game they couldn't remove totally the copy protection question but they only found a way to bypass it.
In fact all the crack that you can find around the web are guessed for older copy of Beholder 1, Beholder 1 contained inside Beholder trilogy (Gog version) is a totally different kind of executable. Gog programmers ususally in this kind of situation don't hack games but use the material that is reachable around the web. It's a normal way to act, why i must to study, reverse engineer an executable when someone else had already done the job? ) the 99% of the modern game drm-free presented by gog use a crack created by Reloaded or Skidrow. When we talk about older game there is a lot of google research behind it.
To remove totally the copy protection from Eye of Beholder 1 Trilogy version i had to study for 4 days, and i have a lot of preparation in that matter.

Obviously this is my 2 cent thought like programmer. Maybe i'm totally wrong, i'm only speculating. For this reason i provided the right way to remove it. They can use it, you can use it, or they can choose to don't use it, like everyone elese, but there will be surely someone that will use the info.

It does not mean that -- check the "About Gog" section on the main page and "What Does 'No DRM Mean?'" in the FAQ. Hillsfar has no activation limits, and once you purchase it, GOG will never remove it from the library. That's what DRM means on this website.
