Has anyone noticed that the GOG version of Dungeon Hack seems different?

I can't link to it, but youtube search for "Dungeon Hack Music" for the version I grew up playing, which is still installed w/ my original CD copy:

It's also the same tune played in pretty much every video showing classic Dungeon Hack.

The GOG version seems... off somehow. The audio voices are still the same during the intro video, but the intro music's off.

GOG VERSION: Enter www, then Vocaroo .com, then /i/, then s0iyMSozSWi9, to listen.

Anyone else noticing this?

I wonder why they chose Roland MT-32, they did the same for Unlimited Adventures and it sounds horrible. Is there a chance that the default Roland MT-32 emulation for the games will sound great on some PCs, or does it always sound the same in DOSBox, no matter what rig it's run on?

Use munt to properly emulate the Roland MT-32. IT works beautifully.

MIDI sound is dependent on the MIDI playback device (Windows GM is terrible).
