Some days ago I made an adaptation of the Dungeon Hack CD edition digital manual to the Epub format. In case someone wants to have a copy, it is available on my old school website:

I tested the manual to work with Firefox+Epubreader and with ibooks on an Ipad.
It includes the game card with keyboard shortcuts, at the end.

Still busy with my first playthrough of this game, but I am kinda stuck on level 5. I read that a Ranger is not a very good choice for a character, unless I get to level 9 to obtain spells. I am level 6 though.

Wanted to help myself out a bit by cheating a little. But I noticed that the object creator cheat somehow runs out of space at some point: "No more opens slots for objects".

No problem, will just take it a a challenge.

Thats not bad for a start. :-)
I'd separate the spell descriptions more (spell name is in small letters, effects in caps and a paragraph could be usefull for separation) and the tables in the last chapter seem to need some work.
But all-in-all it's a lot better to read than the pdf. :-)

At first it was just a html version, then I added some formatting, and eventually I decided to finish it up to what it is now. No big deal, except that there were a lot of pages to go over.

IOS ibooks seems to have a strange way of handling title tags, they are way too small. Title tag <H3> or smaller turn out smaller then regular text!? I already enlarged the titles in the initial version, but cannot go to far just because of IOS.

Hm, a pitty you gave up on this.

BTW: if I remember correctly, the small font sizes in the lesser titles are not uncommon. On a website you can change this by using cascading style sheet (css) definitions of your own. But I have no idea about IOS and ibooks ...

Maybe, when I am into epub formatting again I will give it another try to figure out how to get things more IOS compatible.
