Attempting to run FlatOut using Wine 1.1.24 within GoboLinux 014.01
Also using Nvidia driver 185.18.14.
Installation appears successful. I opted not to install Adobe Reader. Attempting to launch the game, I get the message "Unload the debugger and try again". The game fails to run at this point.

FlatOut appears to run when I use the following software:
OS: PuppyLinux 4.2
WIne 1.1.21
Nvidia 177.82
The menu bar (at the bottom of the screen) stays visible during gameplay.

Try putting this info into the Wine AppDB. They'd appreciate it, and that's really where this kind of info goes.

I just bought this game and it works perfectly fine with my Aspire Revo, an Atom Ion platform.
Archlinux: 2.6.30-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Aug 17 16:06:45 CEST 2009 x86_64 Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU 230 @ 1.60GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

NVIDIA Driver Version: 185.18.36
Finally a very good racing game (Ballistics is good as well) for GNU/Linux.

Yahoo! Runs like hell on my 64 Bit Ubuntu 10.10 Linux with Wine 1.2.1. What a great destroyer - my 4old has a blast with it! :-)

just reinstalled arch linux but cant get it to work, all i get at launch is a courser in the center of the screen.
Running NVIDIA GTX 750ti with 3.67 driver with Intel Core i3 and 8gb ram, the game has worked on my previous install

I do not have FlatOut2, so I can not help with specifics.
Have you tried with the newest version of Wine?
