Damn, how the fuck do I fix this ugly thing? I get it on launching the game.

That's not with gog's version is it ?
Because those messages are usually triggered by DRM with debugger detection, and gog's version doesn't have DRM.
If it is with gog's version, something weird is going on in your system.
Didn't you had this problem a while back with another game ? Battlefield or something like that ? Did you managed to solve that one ?

It sure is.

Rohan15: It sure is.

You never had another version of Flatout installed on that system before installing gog's version ?

Nope.

When you had this problem with the other game, did you tried the amdfix.sys file fix ?
Look here. Lots of people with that issue and some fixes that apparently worked.

Works on Vista?

Which one ?
The fixes related to AV's and drivers and/or apps related to soundcards don't seem to be OS specific and most of them are pretty painless anyway.
As for the amdfix.sys thingy, i don't know. But it's a fix recommended by Microsoft regarding this debugger problem, and the last revision on the article is from June 2008, so i guess it applies to Vista.
Look here.
EDIT: The link was messed up. It's fine now.

Can't locate any Amdfix file.

Rohan15: Can't locate any Amdfix file.

Well, maybe you don't have it. If that's the case, you'll have to try another fix.
If you're looking for it directly in the folder, make sure you have your 'Folder Options' set to 'show hidden folders, drives and files'.

Didn't work for me on vista 32. UPDATE: got it to work after I used msconfig.exe to disable a Creative Labs Service Entry: Creative Labs Licensing Service.
You might also want to try setting normal startup options in msconfig and running it before all programs have loaded on your PC.
