Flatout, well is Flatout insane.
If you enjoy cars fliping across your screen or blowing up into each other, then Flatout is the game for you.
The later games have improved game play and user interface. Very fun series.

I'm curious. If the game is "Flatout insane" and "very fun", why only three stars?
I remember playing the demo back when it first came out and enjoyed it immensely. Never got around to buying it, though. When I saw it on GOG, I immediately bought it.

Well, the only thing I didn't like about the First FlatOut Port was the fact that in the Multiplayer games you had to wait in the score list until the round was over. Anyways the whole Multiplayer interface has improved in the later titles.

Haha that's how I was. I played the first demo a lot when it was released, but never bought the full game. Bought the sequel for 360 but thought that wasn't as fun. Bought this one once I signed up for GOG.
Their is actually three games in the series. Flatout, Flatout 2, and Flatout: ultimate destruction.
Flatout: ultimate destruction is basically Flatout 2.1 as some would say. Just more mini games, tracks, ect.
I do agree it is a lot of fun. For a person who leans towards perfection, it can be frustrating when you get trapped at an object, or a crazy crash knocks you back to last. Fun driving a flaming car to the finish line.
