Hello everyone. I know I've been late to the party, but I would like first of all to say this game rocks. It is really good and compares favorably even with the best of 90s arcade games on this genre. I'm creating this thread to gather the list of tested and working controllers. I'm mostly playing on GoG and also perform these tests for the executable available on another platform but I guess (and hope) the executable is the same as the GoG release. All controllers in my list are tested against the GoG and another PC platform. I will add in the following posts even more tested controllers. I hope we can get a patch in order to be able to support even more USB gamepads, arcade sticks in the future. Here's my current list:

I have 8bitdo arcade stick, it works fine on this game

Just for your records, I've used a Mad Catz TE2+ and a Hit Box without any issues.

Similar when you have up mapped to space bar. Up is bottom directional button on hitbox, so you generally use your thumb to operate it. Takes some time to get used to, but I think it is more comfortable than the WASD layout imo.

Thanks for the reply. I heard it's faster in theory, but I don't think I can part with my joystick.
