If you have IIG, you're screwed, this isn't mentioned in the specs, and I think refunds should be given, low chance of that.
It DOES work on my Intel HD Graphics 4000, (albeit at a choppy framerate), so it may work on some of the other, later integrated chips.

Ahaha! Why would refunds be given for a localized and solvable issue? All the polytron programmers need is a push, and for Fishy not to be a dick about the solution.
That explains my crashes.

GOG really should have warned about this one, I expected bugs, but not this
Try updating your drivers:

They already were up to date
That didn't work here, but it is nice to have updated drivers.

Are u sure about it? I can't play because of this issue
Yes, 100% sure
Wow, this is kind of really shoddy. Luckily, I can install it on my desktop with a graphics card, but I feel bad for folks who don't have that option.

EDIT:
I updated with the newest drivers from the Intel site, and it works fine now. Which makes me wonder why that Polytron employee was giving advice that not only was dismissive and unhelpful, but also apparently wrong.

The guys who updated there intel drivers... are you using the drivers from intel, or from your notebook manufacturer? Because some Brands like HP, or Dell are using there own drivers and they are hardly the newest version.

Understatement of the year I'd say. HP seems to be of the opinion that if they update graphics drivers once in a notebook's lifecycle, they've gone above and beyond what's expected of them. On top of that they (at least for ATI and NVidia) make sure you don't get any strange ideas like installing the drivers from ATI/Nvidia. So you're stuck with HP's gimped drivers.

On my last HP laptop the newest HP drivers could just about cope with Half-life 1 albeit with a choppy framerate. Used MobilityModder to allow me to install the official ATI drivers after which the laptop ran Half-life 2 about as well as half-life 1 had run before.

I have a theory part of th reason might be because they're horrible at cooling solutions for their computers, and making sure the chips are never pushed means less heat to try to cool off.

Eh, It's a standard thing really that games are focused towards AMD / Nvidia based video cards for desktops, Walk into any store and check the minimum requirements they normally always say "May work on IGP and Notebook graphics solutions but not guaranteed"

Also add on top you may be using a Intel IGP which anyone would tell ya isnt the most ideal for gaming, it can game but is hit or miss (I.e. Alan Wake has issues with Intel IGP's)

Also on a more helpful note, Try updating your intel drivers many users of HD3k and HD4k Intel IGP's have found getting the latest driver solved the issue.

Also worth noting I am playing it fine on a Laptop with a 8600m GS and only a 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo without much issue
I installed the Fez patch, and updated the drivers. Same Issue. I'm really hoping polytron pulls it together/gog gives refunds.
