As the title says. I' am using an older Windows XP Netbook(Offline) as my Waybackmachine(TM) and used to play Fez on this machine from time to time.
The problem now is, that the new version broke the Windows XP support. It just says that this executable is not a win32 application.
Is it possible for me to download the older version here from Gog so that i can play fez again on this machine?
PS.: Please do not let this escalate into a discussion on why other windows versions are better and that it is time to upgrade and things like that. I have my reasons to keep Windows XP on this old gaming machine. One reason beeing that the system is simply not capable enough to use Windows 7 or higher and to play my old games like i can do it now - some things are not supported on Windows Vista and above.
Edit:
I suggest to vote for the feature to make older versions availabe for download:
https://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/old_versions_beta_versions_nightly_builds
In the meantime...as suggested on the steam forums, i used a windows restorepoint(so glad i haven't disabled this...) which solved this problem. But i now have to keep fez installed all the time and pray that the hdd will never die....
