I've never played FF Tactics. But I like Turn based games. Is this a strategy game or RPG or both? Thanks

It's "SRPG" -- turn-based strategy with character leveling and story. You go from area to area fighting it out with 6 or so characters on each side. You can grind in previously won areas, or march on to new areas in the linear story line. Each individual gets their own turn sequence, rather than a side at a time.

I never liked FF Tactics, but this is a pretty good game. Especially since my gaming machine is broken right now, and this game plays smoothly on my el cheapo Wal-Mart "Windows" tablet running Linux.

I find it weird that you could like one but not the other. Unless you don't like it personally but acknowledge that it's good for what it is. But yeah, 100% accurate anyway.
