Started replaying FEAR 1 after a couple of years, have installed the FPS fix and all is going well until i get to the first scripted chase where the Point Man crashes out of a window to escape Alma.

Only problem is now that the controls stay locked after the cutscene finishes - still in slo-mo mode, but my gun is aiming up into the sky.

Is there any fix to this?

This happens each and every time. :( Just hard locks at that point and doesn't continue.
Even tried starting a new game and reinstalling.

edit: I see from a walkthrough that the game is supposed to fade to black shortly after going through the window and your team finds you. Neither the fade-to-black nor the next cutscene kicks in....

I encountered with this problem too. But I found solution. I saved the frozen game and exit to windows. then I run it and load saved game - after that I could to move. I went to the window where I was kicked from and game faded to black, started cut scene and my team found me. I successfully continued the game
