I'm looking at the FCAM site and I'm not sure if you can just load 1.8 (Full) and do patches.
Does that contain all the changes from 1.7 for example?
Does it contain the graphics improvements etc?

I do. I'd like an explanation of why I get an error message with the latest version of FCAM (v1.99 I think it is) It just does not work. Lots of other people seem to get the error message when trying to launch, but absolutely no concrete explaination or instruction is given at any point; at least none that I could find after hours of trawling through forums.

Update: Not to worry - finally (Finally) got everything working. Good times!

Must agree with the OP, it is initially very confusing in general, especially when combining all the mods/patches and trying to do it in the correct order.
