I love FC2 its one of my favorite games and i have played it countless hours but seeing as i have a PC copy of it now (thankyou GOG) i was wondering if anybody knows of a mod/patch/therapist that would fix the problem i have with the Assault Truck *cough Land Rover cough* its hood is off center and visually it just bug's the heck out of me now it wont stop me playing it but i am new here so along with saying G'Day to you all i thought i might see if anybody knows a mod or patch that fixes that damm thing because even though far cry 2s bugs are what make it great i would rather not have this one.

If so, then the fact that the window and hood are shifted across to the right side of the screen doesn't indicate a bug to me as when seated in the drivers seat you are over on the left side of the vehicle, not the middle.

No not like those screen shots at all, you can see it very easily from outside the vehicle (assault truck only the others are fine) if you stand at the hood of the assault truck facing the windscreen you will see that the hood is off center , to the right its not even on its hinges :P

I don't believe I've seen that then (but it has been years since I played any Far Cry 2). If you can get a screenshot it would be interesting to see the exact nature of the bug and whether anyone else has it too.

As an aside, sometimes these things can be graphics card and driver related. I remember when I first played Serious Sam First Encounter (on an old PC at the time) and at the end of the game when the underside of the spaceship closes up, none of the triangular textures fitted together leaving gaping holes. Yet on a new PC that issue didn't happen.

yeah possibly though its allso present in the xbox 360 ed of the game in any case it dosent matter i looked around but couldn't find anything so its all good and allso thankyou for replying i was not sure anybody would, happy to meet you : )

Can't say I've played the 360 version as I'm a PC gamer. :)
If you do still want to try to fix the issue, it may be that there are some model replacement mods for the game. However, being such a minor issue it may not be worth the hassle.

I've found the GOG forums to be a very helpful and friendly community, so welcome to GOG. :)
