I am thinking of buying Far Cry. Wiil it play well with my HP laptop, win 7 , nvidia intgrated graphics HMD 4500, 4gb memory 2.5ghz processor?
You can probably run it, but the best way to find out is to download the demo. Here's a link.
I have a latptop with an I3 core, 4gb mem @ 2.5 ghz, BUT I do not have a dedicated graphics card. The graphics still look pretty at medium resolution. I wouldn't worry if I was you
This game is the integrated graphics user's dream come true. I'm using four-year-old integrated laptop graphics, and it runs perfectly.

On my x3100, I never drop below 30fps, so long as I disable bump mapping.

If I enable bump mapping, the fps often drops to 15.

For perfect framerates, you'll need to set things pretty low, but it's very playable even on medium or high.
i play it on low settings on an asus 1000he netbook with 2 gigs of ram lol. Works surprisingly nice too, fun for multiplayer with my friend when were just hanging out in the living room.

I just beat it on a Lenovo R60e laptop, win 7 64x, Core 2 Duo 2.0ghz, 3gb memory, Intel integraged graphics 256mb in Window Mode.........sick. One of the best games I've ever played. I installed Far Cry 2 but in hangs in the load up screen/splash screen indefinitely. I've waited 20 minutes of all the times I've tried. Time to upgrade for Far Cry 3! They're on Xbox 360 but the graphics don't give it justice...
