I didn't know there was a mod for that. You can just use the cheat console instead: press ~ , then type in \save_game [insert a random name for your save here] .

Just a heads up: FCAM has been updated to 1.96 as of June 8 2011.

Also, how do I access the converted 64-bit content?

FCAM is up to 1.984 right now. It even comes with its own launcher / updated nowadays. :)

Is it possible to sorta stack mods, or make one mod dependent on another mod? I.e. I'd like to use FCAM along with the weaken mutants mod at the same time. How would I go about using both at the same time?

I'm not overly familiar with modding my games, so sorry if it's a dumb question.

I saw a few Far Cry coop mods on Google, but they weren't listed here. Does anyone know if they were any good?

I can't get the AMD64 patch to work at all. It's stuck on the Installshield screen. I've chosen a folder location and clicked 'Next', but nothing happens :(
I have Win 8 64-bit and Intel Integrated. I heard, and was also told elsewhere that this shouldn't be a problem and should work on mine.

I have to have this patch as I can't stand the broken state the GOG release is in; what with the psychic enemies and everything.

I'd like to also mention that this mod has an underlying mod/campaign called "Contest Island Invasion". it is a real gem as far as examples of new scripts, interesting gameplay and core extensions. Mixer put together what i think is the best overall mod for FarCry1/CryEngine1. I helped with some gameplay features, artwork and some testing but this was almost 7 years ago now I believe. Not sure where Mixer is these days.

Anyway, give the Contest Island campaign a try and also click around in the multiplayer section and the menus; there is also much COOP to play and fun to be had if you can LAN it up or launch a server and tell your friends the IP address to join.

Edit: FCAM is also based on the scripting achievements of the Conest Island project.
