So yeah, getting my new high-end PC on monday. Can't wait to push it to it's limits with Fallout 2! Question, though. Does games I purchase "stay" on my account or whatever, or do I have to buy it again on monday if I buy it now and play it on my XP computer?
Second, what are the max resolution I can run F2 on, and do I have to do certain stuff to make it compatible with my 24" WS?
Thanks

your game purchases are tied to your online account, not your computer. so if you buy fallout 2 today, it'll still be there for you to download again on monday.

Alright, thanks. What mods are you all suggesting I should get for F2 then?
Argh, I can't click on anything in the main menu, I can only move the mouse around! Any suggestions?

try installing the hi-res mod. it's one i suggest, too. that's the only mod i have install for fallout 2, and it works fine.

haha yeah. just save your gog setup file somewhere safe, and you'll be a-ok ;)

it's working now, but with the hi-res mod, the fps is REALLY bad.

try changing the default resolution. the help file in the .zip is pretty self-explanatory. i run the game in 800x600 without any slowdowns.
Running smoothly in 1024x768 now! Woooooohoooooo!
