Hi people. Sorry about my low English level, but i'm Basque.
Im triyng to run this game in Ubuntu, and it works!! but, after a pair of minutes, the game crashes, the screen freezes and i have to reboot the computer.
Anyone know if it's problem of my computer (graphic drivers) or is a general problem with Linux and Cedega?
Does anyone played this game in Linux?

According to the Wine AppDB, Fallout 2 seems to work fine for most people under Wine, it does for me. Try Wine instead of Cedega, it tends to work a little better.

In both Wine and Cedega? Then it's not Wine, since it works for most people. What distribution are you using? What version of Wine? What graphics card? Any console output from Wine?

Ubuntu Hardy Heron (i dont know how to see the core version)
Wine 1.0
Transgaming Cedega 6.0
Nvidia G-Force 8800-GT
Thanks for your attention. Anyway, its too posible to be a problem of my computer/configuration, as soon as i am a newbie in linux and i have try many things with this system.

Try the Ubuntu forums, or WineHQ IRC. The people there are helpful.
After re-installing my Ubuntu, it works perfect. Freespace 2 works too.
