drealmer7: To me they are almost inseparable and you really must play both. I always say "Fallout 1+2" is
one of my favorite games of all time. They're really both that great. Many will argue 2 is a better game because it has more polish and is longer with more quests and dialogue and characters, etc. BUT, I really think that if you go into 2 without playing 1, you really are missing an essentially crucial experience that will enhance 2 drastically. And 1 is GREAT!
I think it is safe to say that if you like one of them, you'll like the other and you'll want to play them both. More likely, you'll love them (if you can get into the old-school feel of it, which really, just give yourself time and patience and learn how the game operates, and you'll be fine!)
So, start with 1. It's a no-brainer to me. Enjoy! More questions/clarifications or anything else?
Nope! Thanks for the help! I'll be picking the first one up here soon. I'm sure I'll enjoy it, as I have enjoyed all of the other classic crpgs.
