I decided to reinstall Fallout Tactics after a long while, but to my disappointment, something seems to be quite wrong with my computer, as the menus turn to complete mess after starting the game (see attachment). For a split second everything is normal, but then the screen sort of "bleeds" into this fuzzy mess.

After a quick check-up, the same thing seems to happen with all 2D games (PST, BG2) while 3D games are normal (Mass Effect, VTMBL, iRacing), so there would appear to be something wrong with my graphic settings (AMD HD7850 OC, latest drivers (looked the same with a few versions older drivers)). Anyone ever had anything similar? How can I fix this?

Thanks :)

It has something to do with your graphics card. I had the same trouble, try disabling Morphological filtering.

I'm assuming that most of these games are DOS games and the updated installers that they have been publishing gives you a more wide range of graphical options for your rendering pleasure to configure without the mess of ini files.

Um... I have no idea what your talking about. I have AMD, so I just went to the control center that came with my graphics card and went to Gaming/Image Quality/Anti-Aliasing and unchecked Morphological filtering.

Now the game works fine, no more fuzzy graphics

I think the it would work just as well on other graphics cards... but then again, what do I know.
