So I see the post about this being the European one with missing children and all. I also noticed that the pics for the Chem skills are wrong.

I got the European one with no kids. I never patched the first one back for kids but I patched Fallout 2 only to have those damn kids still my crap every time I turned around. They even stole my G.E.C.K. once!

If you use Killap's Restoration Project you can get rid of the thieving kids peacefully in FO2

If you don't support the killing of children in this game, then you shouldn't play Fallout. The ABILITY to commit atrocities is a part of the morality system. Nobody "condones" the kinds of things you are able to do in these games, they're simply horrible. But to not allow some atrocities while allowing others gives a mixed message.
For example, Fallout 3 does not allow the killing of children for the sake of "Social Responsibility". By not condoning child murder, however, they condone all of the other evil acts in the game. They condone the killing of children through atomic explosion, but not personal killing. They condone cannibalism, murder of adults, and stealing from the poor.
A system of morality cannot work without both atrocities and sacrifice for benevolence. Being good has no weight if there is also no option to do evil.
