so everything was running great, few problems with the game, runs alot smoother than it did on steam, but then I went into the atomic wrangler and gambled, and after leaving anytime i open my pipboy now i immediately crash to the desktop.

base game + NVSE, NVAC and YUP only.

game over i guess, can't get any further in the game like this.

Try running the game normally (without NVSE) and see if it still crashes.

If it does , try running the game in windowed mode and then try opening the PipBoy.

it will open in windowed mode, you are correct.

looks terrible like that though.

maybe if i save from there and reload after in non-windowed mode..

gotta tinker here i guess.

EDIT:

After doing that I can load launcher to get to the video settings, set it all back to what it was before it happened and then reload with NVSE and it works.. without windowed or anything, just as it was before, and it works right after that it looks like.

that's kind of weird..

time to get lost again i guess.

thanks again.

back to the desert.

Glad to see it helped.

If you ever run into same issue, and can play only through windowed mode, here is a mod to be able to play in borderless windowed mode (NVSE Plugin):
http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/59266/?

umm, this is something that should be standard installation.
obviously not known well enough.

this is a gift that came from Skyrim to New Vegas..
I didn't know such a thing existed, thought it was all the reverse of that.

thank you.
